ChoreLoop ("the service") is operated by Daniel Newman ("we", "us"), Rockwall, Texas, USA. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use choreloopapp.com and how we handle it.
We collect the minimum data needed to run a shared household chore list, and we never sell your data.
Account data from Google: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We use these to create and identify your account.
App data: the households you create or join, the chores on those lists, and the tasks you mark complete.
Usage data: standard technical logs (such as request timestamps) kept briefly for security and reliability.
To operate the service: showing shared chore lists, your completion history, and household membership.
To communicate service events by email, such as join-request and approval notifications, using the email address provided by Google.
To process payments through a third-party merchant of record if you subscribe to a paid plan. Payment card data goes directly to the payment processor and never touches our servers.
Other members of your household can see your name, profile photo, and the tasks you complete. Household owners can see the email addresses of members and join requests.
Service providers we rely on (hosting, email delivery, payments) process data only on our instructions to provide the service.
We may disclose data if required by law.
Your account data is kept while your account exists. Leaving a household removes you from its lists. Deleting your account removes your profile data; records of completed chores that are part of a shared household history may be anonymized rather than deleted.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to [email protected].
